The St. Anthony Boosters Youth Basketball Association hosted a spring tournament during the weekend of April 21-22 in conjunction with Minnesota Youth Athletic Services.  Many community members volunteered their time to help with admissions, run clocks, clean the facilities, and run concessions.  Thank you all for your help as the tournament was a great success and helped raise funds for youth athletics in St. Anthony.

The St. Anthony Boosters Basketball board would like to welcome three new board members who joined the board during our April meeting.  New to the board are Dan Cary, JJ McCann, and Mike McCann.  Welcome aboard! 

We are always welcoming of community members who would like to help shape the future of youth basketball in St. Anthony.  If you have an interest in being a part of our organization, please feel invited to any monthly meeting. 

The BYBA meets every third Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm at the St. Anthony Community Center.

 During the past few months, several St. Anthony Boosters Youth Basketball Association board members have stepped down as their children have moved out of youth basketball.  We would like to acknowledge all of the time and hard work Tom Kuykendall, Jon DeMars, Mike McDonald, Brian Ekart, Jim Wehr, and Connie Bergquist have given to the St. Anthony youth basketball community over the years.  All of our players and coaches have benefited greatly from the efforts of these volunteers and they have left the youth basketball community of St. Anthony a much better place.

Coaches affiliated with the BYBA are required to take on-line concussion training by December 1, 2011 and then every three years thereafter. The BYBA recognizes the NFHS Concussion Training as the official training program at this time. The link for coaches training can be found under the in-house and traveling tabs.
